Operations Research Analyst

Job Description: Working with multiple clients to understand their business problems and help articulate the problem using analytical tools; analyzing issues and problems observed in the field; conducting in-depth research and developing analysis templates for problem diagnosis; working with the clients and user groups to refine requirements and output to obtain desired results; collaborating with software development group to establish requirements, obtain test data and conduct testing procedures; collecting and maintaining data to build models, interpreting results and enhance processes; using SQL Server and other database management tools to explore, extract, and analyze; applying python programming language to modify and analyze data from clients; creating test cases, workflows, technical documentations for internal uses and also for clients; utilizing R programming language generate charts and graphs to incorporate in the reports for client; working in an agile environment to provide quality assurance, generate analytic reports, develop solutions and present findings of system improvements to clients.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Business Analytics or Operations Research with proficiency in SQL, Python programming, R programming, Tableau visualization and Parallel & Cloud computing using Microsoft Azure.

Location: Durham, North Carolina

Shift Details: 9:00-5:00pm (40 hr/wk)
